A bug in SafeConsole (4.2.0-4.6.6) caused devices to become disabled under certain circumstances.
The bug presented itself only if SafeConsole was configured to:
- Automatically disable devices in Device State Management
- and the Administrator selected to Re-assign one of the affected devices
In these circumstances the device would become disabled and unable to reconnect even after a factory reset.
The solution is to update SafeConsole to 4.6.8 or later and then reconnect the device after performing a factory reset.
