The SafeConsole manual contains information on how to deploy your devices to connect to the server.

If problems still arise please confirm the following steps on the machine where the device is attempting to connect:

  1. Check that the registry key for the device is present as stated in the deployment guide. The resulting URL should be: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\software\blockmaster\[device]\console URL

  2. Check that you can open a Internet Explorer from the same computer and access the SafeConsole admin interface without an SSL certificate warning.

  3. Confirm that the device is not already managed (or linked to a server). If it is it will need to be factory reset (all data will be erased) to pick up a new server.

  4. Confirm that the device you have is able to be managed. There are vendors that sell both devices that can be managed and that cannot be managed.
